The Sento Ju Jitsu Club meets twice a week at Pilgrim Primary school, near Plymouth City Centre. There are separate Junior & Senior sessions.
Ju Jitsu is a martial art that teaches a very wide range of techniques including throws, wristlocks, armlocks & defences from weapons.
Our emphasis is on teaching self-defence that is effective in real life situations. Although it takes considerable practice & application to master the advanced techniques, most people will be able to learn something that works in their first few sessions.
The first four weeks of training (that's eight sessions) are completely free & no special equipment is required to participate. Contact us for details or check our training times .
If you are interested (for yourself, or on behalf of your children) you are welcome to sit & watch a session or join in. Bring some loose clothes without zips or buttons (tracksuit bottoms & a T-shirt are ideal). After a few questions for safety & insurance purposes you can be on the mat.
The Frequently Asked Questions page covers most of things people usually want to know - but if you would like to clarify anything, please feel free to email & ask or call Sensei Nathan on 07845384077.
Also, please feel free to browse the members section, especially the videos on the multimedia page.
